IOM Egypt and Terres des Hommes sign an MoU to ensure migrants’ access to mental health and psychosocial support services in Egypt
The International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Egypt, signed on 22 September 2022 a Memorandum of Understanding and Project Implementation Agreement with Terre Des Hommes in Egypt, with its programme Psycho-Social services and Training Institute in Cairo (PSTIC).
The MoU addressed working conjointly on ensuring migrants’ access to mental health and psychosocial support services in Egypt, where the cooperation will include health promotion, risk communication and community engagement, capacity building, direct medical assistance, ensuring the existence of a proper referral mechanism, and emergency response.
