Dr Asma Nadeem Malik


Dr Nadeem is the Chief Medical Officer for IOM Egypt's Medical Health Division. She is a medical doctor and holds a master’s Degree in Health Management. She has been associated with IOM since 2009.

Dr Nadeem has a long experience in Immigration Health and has served as a Panel Physician for all major countries of resettlement including Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the UK and the US.

She brought this experience to Egypt and now heads a team of 22 staff engaged in medical activities concerned with resettlement of refugees, which provides refugees undergoing resettlement with all resettlement related medical processes including head to toe exam, radiology, phlebotomy and lab testing. Dr. Nadeem further heads a team of 3 staff engaged in activities pertaining to public health and awareness, and the provision of direct medical assistance to and referrals for migrants in Egypt.
